As the sun began its descent, Douglas led Katie along the winding path to Skaros Rock. The rugged beauty of the location, with its ancient ruins and sweeping vistas, set the perfect stage for what was to come. Katie, unaware of the surprise awaiting her, was captivated by the serene beauty of the caldera.
At a secluded spot overlooking the sea, Douglas dropped to one knee and pulled out a ring that sparkled as brightly as the setting sun. And, of course, Katie said: “Yes!!!”
As they walked back to Imerovigli hand in hand, the stars began to emerge, mirroring the sparkle of the ring on Katie’s finger. Their engagement at Skaros Rock wasn’t just a moment—it was the beginning of a new chapter, written in the glow of a Santorini sunset.
